Spencer Caligiuri, a Thousand Oaks native, brought his talents to Dire Wolf Tattoo in 2018 after starting his tattoo career in the San Fernando Valley in 2013. With a strong background in drawing, oil painting, and digital media, Spencer skillfully translates these artistic disciplines into custom-drawn pieces for his clients. While proficient in various styles, he finds his greatest inspiration in nature-driven, larger-scale compositions. He specializes in black and grey work and oriental-inspired motifs, frequently incorporating flowers, snakes, skulls, dragons, animals, waves, and clouds into his designs. Spencer is also adept at creating full-color pieces. Outside the studio, he maintains an active lifestyle, enjoying backpacking, camping, swimming, running, and lifting.
