Ramon Sokun is a talented tattoo artist and storyteller at Skin Design Tattoo in Orange County, having joined the team in 2023 after working at Authentic Roots Tattoo. Born in San Francisco and raised in Long Beach, CA, Ramon’s passion for art began at age three, leading him to earn a Bachelor of Science in Game Art & Design. With nearly four years of professional tattooing experience, he specializes in black-and-grey realism and surrealism, with a profound focus on Cambodian and Southeast Asian art. His work is rich with cultural and religious themes, drawing inspiration from history, mythology (Greek, Indian, and Southeast Asian), and nature. Ramon dedicates himself to learning ancient Southeast Asian art to infuse into his designs. Known for his engaging demeanor, he enjoys connecting with clients, sharing history lessons, and adding humor to sessions. For 2025, Ramon aims to undertake full-scale tattoo projects, push creative boundaries, and refine his distinctive style to establish himself as a unique voice in the industry.
