Kathryn Saky, affectionately known as Kat, is the visionary founder and owner of A Dose of Ink, a premier Permanent Cosmetics, Microblading, and Paramedical Tattoo Studio with locations in Oakland and San Mateo, California. Established in 2017, A Dose of Ink quickly became known for its unsurpassed artistry, integrity, and professionalism.

With over a decade of experience in healthcare, Kat brings a comprehensive understanding of health and safety protocols to her practice, ensuring the highest standards of care for every client. Her keen eye for detail and profound compassion naturally led her into the transformative field of cosmetic and paramedical tattooing in 2016.

Kat specializes in an extensive range of advanced techniques, including Microblading (Phibrows, Nano Brows, Combination/Hybrid Brows, Ombre Powder Brows), Permanent Eyeliner, Lash Enhancement, and Beauty Marks. Her passion truly shines in restorative and corrective work, where she excels in Paramedical Tattooing. This includes Areola Restoration—a path deeply influenced by her personal experiences with the devastating effects of breast cancer—as well as Scar Camouflage, Scalp Micropigmentation, and Belly Button Restoration. She is also skilled in Saline Tattoo Lightening and Emergency Removal.
