With a career spanning over three decades, Miller’s journey into the tattoo world began at just fifteen years old in 1982, teaching himself the craft and even constructing his own tattoo machine. He honed his skills working alongside legendary artists at iconic shops like Spotlight Tattoo, Fat George’s Tattoo Gallery, and Good Time Charlie’s Tattooland, where he learned from “The Kings of Black and Grey,” Jack Rudy and Mike Brown. Having developed his expertise under such influential mentors, Miller is renowned for creating unique and timeless works of art, evident in his diverse portfolio ranging from intricate dragons to highly detailed pieces like the $100 bill tattoo.
Miller’s extensive experience has taken him across the globe, from Los Angeles to New York, Hawaii, Canada, France, Amsterdam, and Japan. He gained national recognition as a featured artist on Discovery Channel’s “LA Ink,” establishing himself as a household name in the industry. His iconic clients include James Hetfield of Metallica, for whom he designed a dragon for a Gibson Les Paul guitar and created a tattoo, and custom motorcycle artist Jesse James, who received a distinctive $100 bill tattoo on his back.
