Carmin Faire (they/them) is a queer tattoo artist and co-founder of Famiglia Tattoo, now based in Calgary/Mohkinstsis, Treaty 7 Territory. With Sicilian and Irish/Scot descent, Carmin’s tattoo practice is deeply centered on the relationship between people and the plants around them, translating personal stories into unique botanical designs. Drawing on over 500 clinical hours in Herbal Medicine and seven years of tattooing experience, Carmin views tattooing as a healing practice through beauty and art, offering a calm and client-centered approach that calls the body into the tattoo experience.
