Meagan Berlin (they/them) is a co-founder of Famiglia Tattoo in Victoria, Lək̓ʷəŋən territories. As a white queer artist, Meagan’s illustration practice is rooted in transcribing personal moments, objects, and sleeping dreams into their tattoo designs. They particularly enjoy the collaborative surprise of each tattoo process, especially in figuring out placement and composition. Meagan aspires to take on more large-scale projects, including backpieces, and deeply values the relational trust involved in creating memorial pieces.
