Connie Westgate is the owner and head artist at Heart & Dagger Tattoo in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. With a passion for art cultivated since childhood through painting and sculpting, Connie began her tattooing career in 2008 and established Heart & Dagger Tattoo in 2016. She specializes in creating custom neo-traditional, colourful, and cute tattoos, as well as striking black and grey and blackwork pieces. Connie is also highly skilled in re-works and extensive cover-ups, including specialized work for mastectomy, surgical, and self-harm scars. Known for her commitment to creating unique, original art for each client, Connie fosters a welcoming and creative community within her studio. She is also dedicated to giving back, notably through her scar cover-up program for women recovering from cancer and her involvement in yearly animal rescue fundraisers.
