Rae, also known as Monica, is a skilled tattoo artist at Z-Edge Tattoo North in Sarasota, Florida, where she has established her permanent artistic home after a decade in the industry. A Sarasota native, Rae developed her passion for art from a young age, majoring in Fine Art at Booker High’s Visual Performing Arts and attending Ringling College of Art and Design. She completed her apprenticeship under Anthony Travieso and even opened her first shop at 21. Rae specializes in a diverse array of styles including Neo-traditional, Pointillism, dot-work, florals, micro-tattoos, anime, cartoons, and custom designs. Clients appreciate her gentle touch, enjoyable demeanor, and genuine love for her craft, noting the great energy she brings to each session. Rae is also furthering her medical background by pursuing a BA in alternative medicine science at Everglades University.
