Matt Doherty has been tattooing since 2006, bringing a strong artistic foundation from their 2008 Bachelor’s degree in illustration from the University of Arts. As a full-time artist at Empire Tattoo’s Clementon, NJ location, they specialize in realism, with a particular focus on intricate black and gray pieces. Matt also occasionally serves as a guest artist at Empire Tattoo’s Pittsburgh and Boston studios.
