Wayne Galbraith

Wayne Galbraith is the owner and a lead tattoo artist at Wonderland Studios in Kitchener Waterloo, ON. His tattooing journey began in 1995 with an apprenticeship at Tattoos by Zap in Owen Sound. After nearly a decade managing a tattoo shop, he moved to Waterloo in 2003, where he honed his craft at Tora Tattoo under the guidance of mentor Jamie Izumi. In 2016, Wayne established Wonderland Studios, a space that merges his passion for tattooing, painting, and fine art, notable for its commitment to superior cleanliness and client safety as the first fully disposable tattoo studio in the Kitchener-Waterloo area. Wayne is celebrated for his versatility, mastering a wide range of styles including black and grey, watercolor, and realism. His portfolio showcases intricate custom designs, from detailed wildlife sleeves and expressive portraits to vibrant floral pieces and unique conceptual works. Drawing inspiration from artists like Aaron Cain, Guy Aitchison, and Adrian Lee, Wayne continuously pushes the boundaries of his artistry. Beyond tattooing, he finds creative freedom in painting on various mediums and enjoys skateboarding and spending time with his family.
