Dan Metcalfe is a versatile tattoo artist and muralist working out of Barnstormer Studio in Ottawa, Ontario. An Ottawa native, Dan’s lifelong passion for drawing and painting led him to earn a Bachelor of Design from NSCAD University before embarking on his tattooing career over four and a half years ago. He gravitates toward illustrative and realism styles, skillfully creating bold, story-driven pieces in both black and grey and vibrant color, suitable for any scale. Dan is continuously expanding his flash collection and cherishes the opportunity to collaborate on custom work with his clients. While typically booked a few weeks in advance, he also welcomes walk-ins when his schedule permits.
