Kojiro “Koji” is the esteemed founder and owner of Golden Tiger Tattoo LLC in Gardena, CA, bringing over two decades of professional tattooing experience to his craft. Originally from Tokyo, Japan, Koji began his apprenticeship 18 years ago under Master Horihisa, where he honed his skills in Traditional Japanese Style and the intricate art of “Tebori” (Japanese hand poke). Since moving to the U.S. in 2014, he has expanded his artistry and established himself as a diverse, award-winning artist. Koji specializes not only in Traditional Japanese and Tebori but also excels in Black and Gray, Fine Line, Realism, Anime, and Portraiture. His impressive list of accolades includes multiple ‘Best of Show’ and ‘Best Japanese’ awards from conventions across the globe.
