Franz Nieto

Franz Nieto is a highly accomplished Master Piercer and the founder of GOA Tattoo & Piercing, which he established in 1996. With an impressive 30 years of experience, he has performed over 140,000 procedures, spanning body piercing, dermal anchors, suspensions, scarifications, implants, and various forms of body modification. Nieto is renowned for introducing and promoting suspensions, dermal anchors, implants, and scarification in Colombia, including being responsible for the country’s first televised suspension. He is also recognized as a pioneer of dermal anchors in South Florida. His expertise is further underscored by his status as the only Colombian member of the Association of Professional Piercers (APP) since 2000, and his certifications from the Florida and Southern Nevada Health Departments. Franz Nieto regularly contributes to discussions on body modification as a columnist for Shock Magazine and Sin Limites Magazine, and as a collaborator for TODOEXPERTOS.COM and Body Modification Ezine (BME). He works between the GOA studios in Miami, Florida, and Bogotá, Colombia.
