Damon Butler is an experienced artist and mentor at Empire Tattoo in Quincy, MA. A Boston native who grew up in the South End projects, Damon has been drawing his entire life, a passion essential to his identity. He pursued an Arts and entrepreneurship program and studied illustration, naturally transitioning into tattooing. What began as a side hustle evolved into his full-time career eight years ago. Damon thrives on the challenge tattooing presents, as it constantly pushes him outside his comfort zone, expands his horizons, and demands creative problem-solving. He is proficient in a diverse range of styles, including fine line, black and gray, neo-traditional, traditional, bold, soft, big, and small. Damon is not confined to any single style, preferring to tailor each project to the client’s unique tastes, ensuring a distinct and personalized piece of art.
