Charlotte Domino

Charlotte Domino is a lifelong artist and the founder of The Temple of Ink, nestled within the HEAL studio in the heart of Montpelier, VT. Since becoming licensed in 2023 and practicing in earnest in 2024, Charlotte has dedicated her artistry to exploring tattoos as a profound form of healing and personal transformation. She specializes in what she terms “somatic tattoo therapy,” an approach rooted in her academic journey towards becoming a licensed mental health therapist. Her practice is deeply informed by trauma-informed, resiliency-oriented, and pleasure-welcoming principles, aiming to foster deep connection between individuals and their body art. Charlotte offers unique “Deep Inquiry” consultations, where she guides clients to explore their somatic connection to a tattoo’s purpose, drawing upon symbolism in art, nature, ritual, and history to co-create supportive and meaningful designs. Working alongside Meredith of Shady Lady Tattoos, Charlotte creates a space that champions bodily autonomy, consent, and empowerment for all. Her work reflects a belief in tattoos as a conscious choice and a vehicle for personal growth and celebration.
