Robert F. Treat, also known as Bob “Trixter” Treat, is the owner and a lead tattooist and body piercer at Red Beard Ink, Tattooing and Body Piercing in Harrisburg, PA. With an innate passion for art evident from a young age, Robert’s journey into tattooing began in 1988 with his first tattoo while serving in the US Army, Airborne Infantry. His dedication to the craft deepened through an apprenticeship under seasoned artists Rick “Yo Mama” McNeely and Neal “Rooster” Warden at “Rick’s Tattoo” in Louisiana, where he honed his skills and learned the intricacies of both artistry and business. After Neal’s tragic passing, Robert moved back to Pennsylvania, continuing to pursue his passion and further enhancing his artistic foundation by studying Graphic Design at Bradley Academy for the Visual Arts. In 2002, Robert established Red Beard Ink, transforming his vision into a thriving studio. He specializes in a diverse range of styles, including intricate Celtic designs, classic Black & Gray work, custom artwork, and expertly executed cover-ups and reworks. His proficiency also extends to freehand artwork and even blacklight ink. Beyond tattooing, Robert is a skilled body piercer, a craft he self-taught while managing a previous studio. Robert F.
