Jacqui Rose is the owner and founder of Lucky Dagger Tattoo in New Orleans, Louisiana, which she established in 2020. Originally from California, Jacqui refined her tattooing skills abroad, learning in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, and later working in a Western-style street shop in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. Now settled in New Orleans, she specializes in bold tattoos inspired by classic American traditional designs from legends like Bert Grimm, Sailor Jerry, and Cap Coleman, infusing them with her own modern twist. Her work is also influenced by Southeast Asian culture and imagery. Jacqui is dedicated to creating a fun, easygoing, and welcoming environment for all her clients. Beyond her artistry, she is also the founder of Nola Cans 4 Food, a non-profit organization dedicated to recycling aluminum cans to buy groceries and cook meals for the Nola Community Fridges.
