Rachel Brown is the founder and a talented artist at Strange Brew Tattoo & Body Piercing in Westminster, Vermont. Growing up amidst the natural beauty of Southern Vermont, Rachel’s artistic inclinations were nurtured from childhood through museum visits and exposure to influential artists like VanGogh, Jean-Michel Basquiat, Dalí, and Frida Kahlo, who continue to inspire her work. Her passion for art eventually led her to pursue tattooing, undertaking a formal apprenticeship in 2011 with seasoned artist Jon Whitman, who imparted extensive knowledge of the craft’s procedures, artistry, and rich history. While deeply respecting tattoo traditions, Rachel also explores other artistic mediums, particularly oil painting, bringing a diverse creative perspective to her craft. She is known for her unwavering commitment to quality, striving to execute each tattoo with precision and ensure a positive, memorable experience for every client.
