Dave Seguyn

Dave Seguyn is a co-owner and lead artist at Sword and Crown Studios, a private studio located in Port Moody, British Columbia. With nearly two decades of experience in the tattoo industry, Dave is a versatile artist, painter, and illustrator. He initially owned Sink the Ink Tattoo Company before co-founding Sword and Crown Studios with Angela Croteau in May 2022, seeking a more private and intimate space for their artistic endeavors. Dave specializes in a diverse range of tattoo styles, including illustrative Japanese, realism, and neo-traditional. He is particularly passionate about horror-themed tattoos, Japanese and other Asian-inspired designs, as well as imagery influenced by video games, comic books, manga, and anime. Known for his custom artwork, Dave meticulously crafts unique designs for each client, emphasizing originality rather than replication. Beyond tattooing, he also creates custom pet and people portraits and offers commissions for paintings and illustrations in both digital and traditional mediums. He provides a special 40% discount on his extensive catalog of pre-drawn flash and ‘wanna-do’ designs, which are realism photo edits he is eager to tattoo.
