Ned Burwell

Ned Burwell is the founder of Endless Boundaries Tattoo in Dorchester, Ontario. With a career spanning over three decades, Ned began his tattoo journey in 1993 at the age of seventeen, driven by a deep passion for the art form. He honed his skills under the mentorship of Mack Bregg, who instilled in him the fundamental mechanics of tattooing and valuable life lessons. Ned is known for his versatility, having worked across a wide range of styles, from intricate small pieces to expansive full-body murals. He particularly excels in large-scale black and grey tattoos, finding ease in this medium. His preferred subject matter includes captivating wildlife and spiritually motivated themes, though he is dedicated to meeting each client’s individual needs and artistic vision. Beyond tattooing, Ned is also an accomplished painter, working predominantly in acrylic on Masonite in a monochromatic style since 1995, with a focus on portraits. He is also an author, having written poems and inspirational articles since 1998. Currently, he is undertaking a significant project, compiling the multi-volume “Canadian Electric Tattoo Scene Book,” a comprehensive historical account of Canadian tattoo artists, a testament to his commitment to the broader tattoo community.
