Big Gus is an artist at Urban Art Tattoo Studio in Mesa, Arizona, having started his tattooing journey in 2001. Originally from Los Angeles, California, he brings a distinct style focusing on Black and Gray, Realism/Portraiture/Photorealism, and is renowned as a Cover-Up Master. Big Gus draws inspiration from iconic artists like Jack Rudy, Freddy Negrete, Tony Olivas, and Mark Mahoney. Outside of his tattooing passion, he enjoys fishing and hunting, embodying a philosophy to ‘Live every day like it’s your last – create the journey and embrace the moments!’
