Amy Muller is the owner, founder, and a senior artist at Pretty In Ink (PIINK), a queer-run studio she established in Alameda, California, in 2015. Although currently based in Barcelona, Spain, Amy regularly returns to the Bay Area every 2-3 months to tattoo at PIINK. Born in Berkeley, CA, she began her tattooing journey in Portland, Oregon, in 2009, apprenticing under Rio Degennarro at Sea Tramp before spending five years at Family Tradition Tattoo. Amy specializes in American Traditional and botanical illustration style tattoos, often incorporating dark, weird, feminine, and magical themes. Her extensive subject matter includes flowers, herbs, fungi, beasties, kewpies, fairies, mermaids, pin-ups, and lady faces. She founded PIINK with the vision of creating a comfortable and welcoming space for both her craft and her clients, a vision she continues to uphold and expand upon.
