Nori Lockhart is a talented tattooer at Uptown Tattoo in Minneapolis, MN, whose artistry is deeply influenced by old Eastern art, including 18th-19th century Japanese paintings, Chinese gongbi, and ukiyo-e prints. Having grown up in Japan, their main interest naturally gravitated towards Asian art, especially large-scale Japanese style tattooing, which is their favorite. Nori also intentionally cultivated a versatile skill set early in their career, allowing them to excel in a wide range of styles, including black and grey realistic portraits, geometric/pattern work, and illustrative tattoos.
