Douglas Kulbis is the founder of Black Oak Tattoo in Fort Collins, Colorado. He began his tattooing career in 2009 after serving in the United States Marine Corps Infantry. A lifelong artist, Douglas discovered his passion for tattoo art while serving overseas, creating tattoo templates for fellow service members. He is known for his meticulous approach, ensuring the best possible designs and placements for each tattoo. Douglas primarily works in an illustrative style, though he is happy to incorporate a traditional bend when desired, focusing largely on black and grey with limited color palettes.
