K. “Pony” Goodwin, known professionally as Pony, is a tattoo artist working in the Sacramento, CA area at Swan and Sword Tattoo. As a proudly non-binary and queer artist, Pony (she/her or they/them) extends a warm welcome to the LGBTQI+ community in their chair. Specializing in colorful, custom illustrative pop culture and cartoon tattoos, Pony loves bringing characters and fandoms to life. Their favorite subjects include Neotraditional animals, birds, fantasy creatures, comic book and video game characters, and other cartoon personalities. A dedicated Trekkie and a fan of shows like My Little Pony, Steven Universe, Bob’s Burgers, and BoJack Horseman, Pony enjoys connecting with clients over shared ‘nerd culture’ interests. They began their apprenticeship on Halloween in 2011 and have been tattooing professionally since late 2012, priding themselves on creating a positive, welcoming, and supportive experience for all.
