Mario Romero is a neotraditional artist at Sovereign Ink Tattoo in Rio Rancho, New Mexico. A self-taught artist with a Fine Arts degree from CNM, Mario has a rich background in drawing, painting, and sculpting, having showcased his work in galleries across New Mexico. He began his body art apprenticeship in 2019 and became a licensed tattoo artist in 2022. While proficient in various tattooing styles, Mario specializes in watercolor neotraditional. He places a strong emphasis on client comfort throughout the entire process, from the initial consultation onward. Outside the studio, Mario can often be found sketching at local coffee shops, continuously nurturing his creative spirit.
