Nicolette “Nic” Frangipani is the Sole Artist and Owner of Back40Tattoo, nestled within Mount Angel Tattoo in Mount Angel, Oregon. With 13 years of experience, she embarked on her tattooing journey after transitioning from a corporate financial career, driven by a profound passion for art and inspired by her six children.

Nic specializes in a comprehensive range of corrective and aesthetic tattooing. Her expertise includes intricate cover-ups, revamps, and corrective pigment placement for senior skin, skin disorders, and medical needs such as scar camouflage for surgical, injury, and keloid scars, as well as areola reconstruction. Her artistic passions extend to a diverse array of styles, prominently featuring fine line FONT work, vibrant watercolor, abstract designs, and delicate pieces. She is highly skilled in creating high-detail, heavily saturated color tattoos and custom floral designs in all styles. Nicolette prides herself on a collaborative approach, working closely with clients to bring their unique vision to life, whether it’s flora, fauna, or personalized script.
