Dennis Watkins was a revered figure at Tattoo Charlie’s Baltimore, serving as the protégé, apprentice, and eventual business partner of founder Charlie Geizer. After Geizer’s passing in 1980, Watkins took the helm of the iconic studio. Prior to this, he had already established his own shop in Odenton in 1977 alongside his wife, Gale Watkins. Dennis was deeply committed to ensuring his artistry was always executed with precision, safety, and respect, carrying forward the high standards set by Charlie Geizer. He led Tattoo Charlie’s until his own passing in March 2008.
