Nathan Hailey

Nathan Hailey is a dedicated Tattoo Artist at Mountain Rose Tattoo in Hailey, Idaho. A local of Hailey, Nathan’s artistic roots trace back to his youth spent drawing, painting, and playing music. After a decade in architecture, he sought a more creative outlet and began a traditional apprenticeship under studio founder Matt Crow. Nathan’s training grounded him deeply in Traditional Americana tattooing with coil machines, teaching him the foundational elements of the craft. While rooted in tradition, he has expanded his expertise and now embraces a variety of styles, bringing versatility to his work. Nathan values the profound connection tattooing fosters, stating that “watching a client’s eyes light up when they see their finished tattoo is the best.” Beyond the studio, he enjoys the Wood River Valley’s outdoor offerings like skateboarding, snowboarding, and hiking, and is a musician and a new father.
