Karla Dagovitz is the Artist/Owner of Stranger Still, a welcoming tattoo studio located in Burlington, Vermont. With over 11 years of experience, Karla completed her traditional tattoo apprenticeship in 2017. She is recognized for her unique blend of natural illustration and botanical tattoos, showcasing expertise in vibrant color work, black and grey, and stipple techniques.
Her artistic vision is deeply inspired by botanical and avian illustrations, decorative design, embroidery, folk art patterns, and the enchanting world of myth and magic. Karla founded Stranger Still with a commitment to creating a safe and inclusive space where clients can feel seen, heard, and celebrated while receiving lasting artwork. She considers it an immense honor to adorn bodies with permanent art and strives to ensure every client leaves happy with their unique piece.
Beyond her studio work, Karla actively participates in tattoo-based fundraising, supporting organizations such as Still Not Asking For It, Northwest Abortion Access Fund, and Adelaide Koala Rescue. She previously owned Bitterroot Tattoo in Idaho before establishing her practice in Burlington and founding Stranger Still.
