Vern Miranda is a Co-Owner at inkni studios in Portland, Maine, which she co-opened in early 2024. With a lifelong passion for art, Vern pursued her academic journey by earning a Bachelor’s degree in Fine Art with a focus on painting and drawing from St. Ambrose University. Her tattooing career began with an apprenticeship in Florida, followed by over five years of professional tattooing in the Quad Cities. After relocating to Maine and working at Broken Crow Collective, she channeled her vision into establishing inkni studios. Vern specializes in narrative, nature-based, and illustrative style tattooing, with a particular expertise in large-scale black and grey as well as fine line designs.
