Maddox Peace, professionally known as @1dollahotdogs, is a Calgary-based tattoo artist with four years of experience at Parlour Tattoo. Having grown up around the shop, he possesses a lifelong connection to visual art. Maddox’s tattoo work is defined by bold, imaginative compositions, often featuring surreal skulls, otherworldly creatures, and layered forms that integrate organically with the skin. He strives to craft designs that are both visually dynamic and emotionally evocative when given creative freedom. Outside of tattooing, Maddox explores traditional drawing mediums and is active in Calgary’s music scene, performing in bands like Sputum. He focuses on larger-scale tattoo projects, collaborative work, and expanding his practice through merchandise and album artwork.
