Dan Cameron is the founder and owner of Ambassador Tattoo, Calgary’s premier tattoo studio. His lifelong immersion in art began in childhood, fueled by a love for comic books, which quickly evolved into a natural talent for sketching and painting during his teenage years. Dan’s professional journey into the tattoo industry commenced in 2003 with an apprenticeship at the former Iron Will Tattoo under Steve Lyseng. He spent 11 years refining his technical abilities and developing his distinct style at respected Calgary establishments such as Immaculate Concept and Deadly Tattoos. In 2016, Dan realized a longtime dream by opening Ambassador Tattoo, which has since become a cornerstone of Calgary’s tattoo scene. He specializes in custom tattoo designs, with a particular focus on traditional and neo-traditional American tattoo styles, known for bringing visions to life with precision and artistry.
