Drawing inspiration from his rich upbringing surrounded by Tucson’s deep art and heritage, including lowriders, graffiti, and Aztec murals, Hector cultivated an early passion for art. His journey, marked by the discipline gained from an athletic scholarship, led him to fuse this focus with a profound appreciation for martial arts and the Way of the Samurai.
At Bushido Studio, Hector specializes in fine line, realism, and Neo-traditional Asian tattoo styles. He integrates the seven virtues of Bushido—Justice, Courage, Mercy, Respect, Honesty, Honor, and Loyalty—into every aspect of his artistic practice.
