Kya J Dubois

Kya J Dubois (she/her/fae) is a self-taught intuitive tattooist and visionary fine artist, rooted and co-creating in ʔa·kisk̓aqǂiʔit, the traditional territory of the Ktunaxa peoples (Cranbrook, BC). Her upbringing, surrounded by creative spirits and deeply connected to nature, has profoundly shaped her artistic perspective.

Kya specializes in visionary art and intuitive tattooing, focusing on expressing and processing the spiritual-human experience and our relationship to the world around us. Her work draws heavily from mythology, folklore, and the interconnectedness of all living things, often featuring themes inspired by the flora and fauna of the natural world.

Dedicated to honoring tattooing as a sacred art form, Kya brings a spiritually-educated and emotionally-informed presence to her clients. She is committed to offering a safe, inclusive, and accessible space within her warm, homey studio environment. While her books are currently closed for new tattoo work until Summer 2026, her passion for meaningful co-creation continues to define her unique artistic journey.
