MJ is a Southern California tattoo artist with over a decade of experience, operating out of Slowpoke Tattoo in Anaheim. Completing their apprenticeship in 2011, MJ has been fully immersed in the art form since 2016. As a Latine, queer, and autistic artist, they are committed to fostering a space of community and acceptance through their work. MJ’s expertise encompasses black and grey realism, American traditional, stippling, and illustrative styles. They are particularly passionate about developing their illustrative approach to bring whimsical concepts to life.
