Jhon Rodríguez is a seasoned tattoo artist and the owner of 100 Candles Tattoo in St. Albans, Vermont. With over 30 years of professional experience, Jhon began his career in Bogotá, Colombia, where he founded The Zone Colors, a studio recognized for its distinct artistic identity and his original character series, “Chyrlos.” His journey later brought him to the United States, working in various cities before establishing his current studio in Vermont. Jhon specializes in neo/new traditional style animal tattoos, large-scale Japanese pieces, and custom work. He is known for his composition-driven approach, emphasizing clarity, strong design, and clean execution to create tattoos that age beautifully and genuinely reflect each client’s vision. A significant contributor to the tattoo community, Jhon also spearheaded the organization of Vermont’s first tattoo convention, the Rail City Tattoo Convention, in 2023, fostering a spirit of collaboration and artistic exchange.
