Joe Truck is the owner and operator of Black Buffalo Tattoo Collective in Rocklin, CA. A true pioneer in the tattoo industry, he has been making trailblazing contributions for decades. In 1995, Joe opened his first studio in New York City at a time when tattooing was illegal, famously fighting and defeating New York’s tattoo ban to operate the Big Apple’s first legal studio. He later managed multiple studios throughout Long Beach before establishing Black Buffalo Tattoo Collective. Joe specializes in dark art, black work, and bold traditional tattoos, bringing years of experience and a passion for art to every piece he creates. The studio prides itself on honesty, versatility, and medical-grade sanitation, ensuring high-quality, long-lasting tattoos for both seasoned collectors and first-time clients.
