Al Benoit, known affectionately as “Angry Al,” is an Owner, Tattoo Artist, and Mentor at Bulletproof Tiger Tattoo in Manchester, NH. His lifelong fascination with art, particularly comic and skateboard culture, laid the foundation for his career. Al’s journey in tattooing began at 15, leading to an apprenticeship in 2005 at Studio 3 Tattoo, an experience he cherishes for shaping both his craft and his life. He is particularly skilled in large-scale projects and specializes in a diverse range of styles including Old School, Traditional, Horror, Asian, Celtic, Religious, Tribal, and Bio-Mechanical. Al is dedicated to continuously refining his artistry, creating original tattoos that are meticulously tailored to each client’s vision. Inspired by his surroundings, whether a good book, music, or his colleagues, he thrives in a creative environment, valuing the connections made and stories shared with new people. When not tattooing, Al enjoys spending time with his son and exploring nature through hiking, fishing, and skiing.
