Andrew Hoch is an artist at Empire Tattoo in Quincy, MA. With a passion for tattooing that began in 2005, Andrew specializes in vibrant New School styles, emphasizing texture, proportion, and especially color, which he describes as ‘candy.’ He holds an undergraduate degree in Biology with an art minor, fascinated by the intersection of science and art, which informs his work. Beyond tattooing, he paints, illustrates (medical, scientific, and fantasy), and practices graphic design. Andrew draws influence from artistic masters like Da Vinci and Dali, as well as renowned tattoo artists such as Timmy B and Andrés Acosta, and credits his mentor, Keith Miller, with building his resilience and confidence. Outside the studio, Andrew is a personal trainer who enjoys rock climbing, outdoor activities, and playing music.
