Angela is the owner of Patchwork Art Studio, a private studio located in Gastown, Vancouver. With a background in painting and a Bachelor of Fine Arts, she founded the studio in 2021 with a clear vision: to create a creative, queer-friendly, and welcoming space for both artists and clients. While Angela does not currently tattoo due to health reasons, she is deeply involved in the tattoo community and dedicates herself to supporting the diverse resident artists at Patchwork. Her inspiration for the studio was born from her personal experience of finding self-confidence and healing through tattoos amidst chronic pain. Under her leadership, Patchwork Art Studio embraces a wide array of styles, including Illustrative Blackwork, Neotraditional, Realism, Full Colour, Coverups, Fineline, Traditional, Hand Poke, Ornamental, Watercolour, Anime, Black & Grey, and custom designs. Angela ensures the studio prioritizes client comfort and a consent-based approach, making every tattoo experience positive and rewarding.
