Ben Tyne is a resident artist at Black Water Electric Tattoo in Whippletree Junction, Duncan, B.C. His tattooing journey began in Peterborough, Ontario, where he apprenticed under Tedd Hucks. After moving to Vancouver Island in 2016, Ben honed his practice in Victoria for four years before making his home in the Cowichan Valley. Deeply immersed in the natural beauty of the region, which he often explores with his son, Ben specializes in nature-based tattoos. His artistry is a direct reflection of his profound connection to the land, translating its magical beauty into intricate and inspiring designs.
