Byron J is a loud and proud queer and non-binary tattoo and visual artist, as well as the owner of In Bloom Tattoo Collective in downtown Ottawa, Canada. Working in Ottawa and across Canada since January 2017, they are celebrated for their brightly coloured neotraditional tattooing. Byron’s specialties include precise and detailed linework, bold colour, and freehand work. They also excel in covering all kinds of scarring, including those from surgery, self-harm, and accidents, making cover-ups a central focus of their service. Known for their warm bedside manner, Byron prides themself on creating a fiercely feminist, body positive, and queer positive environment, welcoming all bodies and skin tones. They are also fluently bilingual in English and French.
