Carter Moore

Carter Moore is the owner of Immortal Canvas in Hamilton, Ohio, and a highly experienced tattoo artist who began his tattooing career in 2006. Prior to this, he spent 15 years as an art director in advertising but sought a more authentic path, drawn by his love for tattoo as “the last form of art that hasn’t become a commodity.” Carter approaches each tattoo with the philosophy that it should look as though the client “was born with it,” rather than simply applied. He views tattooing as a deeply intimate experience built on trust between artist and client, finding profound satisfaction in knowing his art is carried for a lifetime. Committed to his family, Carter is a devoted husband and father of four, who prioritizes his children above all else, kindly asking for understanding if his responses to inquiries are occasionally delayed.
