Chris “Spugs” is an award-winning Tattooer and Fine Artist at Juli Moon Studio in Lynn, Massachusetts. After an apprenticeship with Juli Moon herself in 2012, Chris has established a unique hybrid style that fuses his background in painting and illustration into his tattooing. He specializes in watercolor and large Japanese art, while also embracing a wide variety of other styles and subjects. Chris holds a double major/minor in Painting and Illustration from Salem University and was a gallery-contracted Fine Art painter known for his abstract texture-based works before dedicating himself to tattooing.
