Damon Butler is an artist at Empire Tattoo in Quincy, MA. A Boston native who grew up in the South End, Damon has been drawing his entire life, a passion he describes as essential to who he is. He pursued illustration through an Arts and entrepreneurship program and found a natural progression into tattooing. What began as a side hustle transformed into his full-time profession eight years ago. Damon finds tattooing to be a constantly evolving field that pushes him outside his comfort zone, expanding his horizons and challenging him to approach problems from creative new angles. He is highly versatile, adept at working in a variety of styles, including fine line, black and gray, neo-traditional, traditional, and pieces that can be bold or soft, big or small, always aiming to deliver unique, custom art tailored to his clients’ tastes.
