Dane Weldon

Dane Weldon is the founder and sole artist at Mama Tried Tattoo Social Club in Acworth, Georgia. He began his career in the summer of 2001 at a respected shop in Carrollton, Ga., gaining a solid foundation before honing his skills further in a busy Atlanta studio. Pursuing a formal education in the arts, Dane earned his Bachelor of Fine Arts at the University of West Georgia while simultaneously opening Mama Tried Tattoo in 2010. His tattooing interests primarily lie in various forms of realism, alongside expertly covering and fixing undesirable tattoos. Dane takes immense joy in helping clients achieve their body art desires, whether it’s a multi-session masterpiece, a simple script name, or a piercing, always approaching each project with a cheerful attitude and dedicated focus.
