Daniel Matlock, known to many as Danny, is a co-owner and accomplished artist at Duality Tattoo in Tucson, Arizona. With nearly two decades of experience, he essentially grew up within the tattoo scene, cultivating a comprehensive understanding of diverse styles. While he has mastered a wide range of subjects, Daniel now primarily specializes in stunning realism, intricate black and grey work, and impactful large-scale projects. He is deeply committed to crafting truly unique pieces that are thoughtfully designed to harmonize with each client’s body. Beyond his extensive tattooing career, Daniel is also an award-winning tattoo machine builder, focusing on coil machines and valuing the connection to the industry’s history and fellow artists. Outside of his artistic pursuits, he finds joy in food, music, bugs, and plant care, maintaining a vibrant collection of plants in the shop and even bugs in the lobby.
