Danielle Figueroa is a co-owner and artist at Primal Instinct Tattoo in Anchorage, AK. Her artistic foundation began in Northern California, where she studied art with a focus on oil painting. She embarked on a tattoo apprenticeship in 2006, discovering a deep connection to the craft and meeting her future husband and business partner, Carlos. In 2011, Danielle and Carlos moved to Alaska, eventually marrying and purchasing Primal Instinct Tattoo in 2020. Danielle enjoys exploring a wide variety of styles, including black and grey realism, color realism, neo-traditional, and blackwork. She is particularly passionate about creating large, intricate pieces, investing significant time with clients to foster strong artist-client bonds.
