David Klaiber is the founder and owner of Blue Byrd Tattoo, which he established in Dayton, Ohio in the fall of 1999. With a tattooing career that began in the summer of 1993, David brings decades of experience and a deep-seated passion for the art to his studio. He is known for his candid and opinionated approach, ensuring clients are guided toward optimal design choices. His artistic specialties include nature pieces, modified realism, photo duplication, and creating works with a contemporary quality, regardless of size. David finds particular satisfaction in crafting Black & Grey pieces and Tribal designs, often describing them as meditative. While he has retired from body piercing, he extensively studied the practice since 1991 and implemented a safe, progressive piercing style and training for the Blue Byrd staff, maintaining high standards for all customers. He values the collaborative journey and conversations he shares with each client throughout the tattooing process.
